SERVICE RULES

The Service Rules are framed to regulate the service conditions, duties, and responsibilities of the employees of the institution and to ensure smooth functioning of academic and administrative activities.

1. Appointment and Probation

  • All appointments shall be made as per the norms of the Management and affiliating University / PCI.

  • Newly appointed staff shall be on probation for a specified period as decided by the management.

  • Confirmation of service shall be based on satisfactory performance.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Employees shall discharge their duties honestly, efficiently, and with dedication.

  • Teaching staff must complete the prescribed syllabus and academic responsibilities.

  • Non-teaching staff shall perform their assigned duties as instructed by the authorities.

3. Working Hours and Attendance

  • All employees must adhere to the prescribed working hours of the institution.

  • Attendance shall be marked daily as per institutional procedure.

  • Late coming and unauthorized absence will be treated as misconduct.

4. Leave Rules

  • Employees are entitled to leave as per institutional and government norms.

  • Leave must be sanctioned in advance by the competent authority.

  • In case of emergency, intimation must be given to the Head of the Department or Principal.

5. Conduct and Discipline

  • Employees shall maintain professional behavior and discipline within the campus.

  • Respect towards students, colleagues, and superiors is mandatory.

  • Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and use of narcotic substances within the campus are strictly prohibited.

6. Confidentiality

  • Employees shall not disclose official or student-related information to unauthorized persons.

  • All institutional records shall be treated as confidential.

7. Code of Ethics

  • Employees shall adhere to the ethical standards of the profession.

  • Teaching staff must serve as role models for students in conduct and character.

8. Performance and Evaluation

  • Employee performance shall be reviewed periodically by the management.

  • Promotions and increments shall be based on performance and institutional policies.

9. Grievance Redressal

  • Employees may submit their grievances to the Grievance Redressal Committee through proper channel.

  • All grievances shall be addressed fairly and confidentially.

10. Termination and Resignation

  • An employee may resign by giving prior notice as prescribed by the institution.

  • Services may be terminated due to misconduct, negligence of duty, or violation of service rules.

11. Retirement

  • Retirement age and benefits shall be as per institutional and government norms.

12. General Rules

  • Employees must follow all circulars and instructions issued by the management from time to time.

  • The decision of the Management and Principal shall be final in all matters related to service rules.
