The Training & Placement Cell of Ratnam Institute of Pharmacy is dedicated to enhancing the employability, professional readiness, and career growth of students. As a key interface between academia and industry, the cell provides structured training, career guidance, and placement opportunities that prepare students to excel in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Vision

To develop industry-ready, ethically responsible, and professionally competent pharmacy graduates equipped with strong technical skills and confidence to succeed in a dynamic global environment.

Mission

  • To deliver industry-focused training programs that strengthen students’ technical abilities and soft skills.

  • To establish collaborations with pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, CROs, community pharmacies, and research institutions.

  • To facilitate internships, industrial training, and on-campus/off-campus placement opportunities.

  • To mentor students in career planning, higher education pathways, and competitive exam preparation.

Objectives of the T&P Cell

  • Build and strengthen long-term partnerships between industry and academia.

  • Organize guest lectures, workshops, seminars, webinars, and industrial visits.

  • Enhance students’ communication, leadership, and personality development skills.

  • Coordinate internship programs, pre-placement training, and recruitment drives.

  • Provide guidance and support for GPAT, NIPER, Drug Inspector, and other competitive examinations.

  • Resume writing, portfolio preparation, and mock interview sessions

  • Communication skill enhancement and personality development workshops

  • Specialized training in pharmacovigilance, clinical research, medical coding, data management, and regulatory affairs

  • Industrial training and hospital/community pharmacy exposure

  • Aptitude training, group discussions, and soft skills development

Placement Support

  • Coordinating campus recruitment drives for leading pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations

  • Facilitating pre-placement talks, written test preparation, and interview coaching

  • Maintaining a comprehensive database of alumni and recruiting companies

  • Providing continuous guidance for off-campus and referral-based placement opportunities

  • Ensuring smooth communication between students and recruiters
