ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE
In accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the institution has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee to prevent ragging and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all students.
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the college campus and hostel premises. Any student found guilty of ragging will be punished as per UGC regulations.
OBJECTIVES OF THE ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE

To prevent ragging in all its forms within the campus.

To create awareness among students about the dehumanizing effect of ragging.

To ensure a safe and friendly environment for freshers.

To take strict action against students involved in ragging activities.

To comply with UGC and PCI anti-ragging regulations.
FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE

To monitor and supervise anti-ragging activities in the institution.

To conduct awareness programs on anti-ragging.

To receive and address complaints related to ragging.

To conduct enquiries and recommend suitable disciplinary action.

To ensure compliance with anti-ragging laws and guidelines.

ANTI-RAGGING MEASURES

Display of Anti-Ragging posters at prominent places in the campus.

Conduct of Anti-Ragging awareness programs and orientation sessions for students.

Installation of complaint and suggestion boxes.

Regular monitoring of hostels and campus areas.

Counseling of students whenever required.
PUNISHMENT FOR RAGGING (As per UGC Regulations)
Students found guilty of ragging shall be liable for one or more of the following punishments:

Suspension from classes

Cancellation of admission

Withholding of scholarships

Debarring from examinations

Expulsion from the institution

Filing of FIR with local police authorities
